Alloy 3105 for Aluminum ROPP Caps

Aluminum ROPP caps are threadless aluminum caps used to seal glass bottles. When the closure is installed on the bottle, the threads are formed by applying a pressure roller to the closure. ROPP caps are in great demand in the beverage and food industries and are widely used in alcohol, medical, pharmaceutical, beverage, food, agricultural chemicals, edible oils, and lubricants.

Aluminum bottle cap materials can be produced by hot rolling or continuous casting and rolling, and then cold rolling. At present, most manufacturers of ROPP caps use continuous casting and rolling blanks to produce aluminum foil for bottle cap.
