It is mainly bonded to the back adhesive to enhance the sealing performance of the bottle cap.
For gasket materials, PVC bottle cap gaskets have the advantages of softness and good elasticity. However, because it contains vinyl chloride (VCM) residues and plasticizers (DOP, DEHP, etc.), it will directly affect the food safety of packaged products. Substances such as DOP and DEHP have long been proven to interfere with human endocrine and affect reproduction, liver and urinary system. Therefore, PVC high-temperature bottle cap gaskets are unsafe and not environmentally friendly. So what provide is none-pvc granule gasket.
PE bottle cap gasket has good chemical stability and can resist the erosion of most acids and alkalis. However, due to its high hardness, its elasticity is poor. During the capping process, it is easy to cause poor bonding with the bottle cap and poor sealing, and the ability to compensate for defects in the bottle mouth is relatively weak.
Eva bottle cap gaskets have good chemical stability, aging resistance, ozone resistance, average elasticity, and excellent shockproof and cushioning properties. However, Eva gaskets have a strong smell, are irritating to the eyes and skin, have poor sealing properties, and are not recyclable.
TPE has the advantages of rubber and plastic. It has a soft and comfortable feel, good resilience, and small permanent compression deformation. It can be processed with a general thermoplastic molding machine and can be processed by injection molding, extrusion, foaming, etc. It is safe, non-toxic and odorless, does not cause irritation to human skin, does not contain plasticizers, does not contain halogens, does not contain metals, and complies with EU ROHS, SGS and other environmental testing certifications. TPE can be processed and formed without vulcanization.
