Painted Aluminum Foil Sheet for Bottle Packaging

Aluminum foil seal for glass jar is usually coated with an organic coating on both sides, which is necessary to form a protective layer on the surface to prevent corrosion during the shelf life. It is an ideal material for drying and non-processed food can lids.

The coating used for glass jar lids is generally applied to aluminum sheets, not aluminum coils. Since both the inside and outside need to be coated, each sheet requires two separate coating and drying steps. After each sheet is coated, the inner coating is cured by a drying oven and the outer UV-cured coating is cured.

Types of coating

1. Epoxy varnish is applied on both sides

2. Clear epoxy varnish is applied on one side and colored varnish is applied on the other side.

Coating thickness

1. Gold/yellow: 5-6g/m2 for both sides, 2-3g/m2 for one side.

2. White/red/black/blue: 10-13g/m2 for both sides.

Pre painted aluminium quality

1. Boiling resistance: boiling at 121 degrees Celsius for half an hour, the paint does not fall off and does not change color.

2. Acetone and mercuric chloride resistance: repeated wiping for 20 times without obvious discoloration.
